PALO-AI adds a governance control plane that turns each proposed action into a deterministic claim, checks policy, obtains human approval when required, and records evidence. The current release is an open developer preview for n8n and similar platforms.

Stage 1 — Architecture preview#

- Open a discussion asking for feedback from n8n builders, security engineers and governance practitioners.
- Recruit three to five design partners with non-production use cases.

Stage 2 — Installable alpha#
- Publish
n8n-nodes-palo-aionly after it builds, installs and passes node tests. - Release three workflow examples in the repository before seeking inclusion in external template libraries.
- Demonstrate explicit network intent and immutable-claim approval resume.
- Label the package alpha/developer preview everywhere.

Stage 3 — Enforced self-hosted preview#
- Release workflow admission hooks and the governed executor.
- Demonstrate that removing the visual gate or changing the workflow digest blocks execution.
- Publish a threat model, failure-mode tests and latency measurements.

Stage 4 — Production-readiness evidence#

Visual automation platforms now allow AI agents to select and call operational tools. This creates enormous opportunity, but prompts alone cannot establish who is authorized to act, under which policy, with which human oversight, or with what evidence.
Today we are publishing the architecture preview for PALO-AI as a governance control plane for n8n and agentic automation platforms.
The proposed model introduces four complementary patterns:
- a visible governance decision gate;
- an enforceable governed executor;
- digest-bound human approval and secure resume;
- workflow admission and continuous governance.
PALO-AI v2.5 is a full-cycle developer preview. It includes versioned JSON contracts, an official-SDK MCP reference server, Rego policies, replay controls, exact-claim approval, one-time execution capabilities, signed receipts and authoritative outcome verification. Production identity, unavoidable enforcement, secure mobile approval delivery, durable multi-instance recovery and certified connectors remain under development.
We are looking for n8n builders, security engineers, policy authors and design partners willing to review the contracts and test safe non-production workflows.

We are evaluating a developer preview of PALO-AI, an emerging governance control plane for agentic automation. We are looking for a small number of teams with a safe, non-production n8n use case involving an AI agent and one operational tool. The evaluation focuses on authority definition, policy decisions, human approval and evidence—not production execution. Participants receive direct architecture support and can influence the connector and policy-pack design. No sensitive data or production credentials should be used.
Promotion priorities#
- Earn technical credibility before reach. Lead with contracts, tests, limitations and a reproducible demo.
- Use the architecture diagram as the hero asset. It communicates the product boundary faster than a feature list.
- Invite critique. Security and n8n communities respond better to an explicit threat model than to “complete governance” claims.
- Demonstrate a denial. A successful deny and immutable approval resume are more persuasive than a happy-path dashboard.
- Publish evidence of progress. Compatibility matrix, test results, latency, failure behavior and resolved review findings.

Claim safety checklist#
Before publishing any announcement, verify:
- Is every capability labelled specified, prototype, implemented or production-ready?
- Does “enforced” refer only to an unavoidable execution path?
- Are approval and evidence claims bound to the exact implemented mechanism?
- Are biometrics distinguished from cryptographic identity and signatures?
- Is SQLite described as preview storage only?
- Are n8n native HITL, guardrails and security controls acknowledged?
- Are licensing and OEM statements limited to official n8n guidance?
